Evian is naturally filtered for over fifteen years through pristine glacial rock formations before being bottled at source. It is characterised by its lightness and its balanced composition and is suitable for all ages. It can be used in all types of diets; because of its low sodium content, Evian natural mineral water can safely be recommended to persons following a salt-reduced diet.
While there are many different types of bottled water, natural mineral water comes from an underground formation called an aquifer from which water flows to the surface of the earth at a source. This is a protected natural source that is free from pollution. Naturally pure and with a stable composition, the water can then be collected. Natural mineral waters do not need any form of treatment. Evian natural mineral water is collected and bottled from its source (Cachat Spring) in the French Alps.
